Welcome aboard

Thanks for choosing WixCargo. These Terms explain how our carrier management platform works and what we both agree to when you create an account or use the service.

By signing up, logging in, or continuing to use WixCargo, you accept these Terms on behalf of yourself and the motor carrier or business you represent (“Customer”). If anything here doesn’t work for you, please reach out before using the product — we’re happy to clarify.

What WixCargo gives you

WixCargo is cloud software built for trucking carriers: dispatch and load management, live driver tracking from a smartphone (Telegram live location or optional fleet GPS), invoicing, driver settlements, compliance tracking, integrations, and driver portals — the operational backbone your team runs on every day.

Many small carriers do not need a separate driver app or expensive hardware to see where the truck is. When your driver shares live location from the phone they already carry, dispatch gets a live map on the load — the same way consumers track a rideshare. Optional telematics (Samsara, Motive) layers on when you already have it.

We improve the product continuously. Features may evolve, but our goal stays the same: help you run loads, pay drivers, and stay organized without juggling a dozen disconnected tools.

What we are not: WixCargo is software, not a law firm, CPA, payroll bureau, FMCSA representative, or IFTA filing service. Use it to organize your business — then rely on your own advisors for legal, tax, and regulatory decisions.

Your part of the partnership

To get the most from WixCargo, we ask that you:

  • Keep account and company details accurate and up to date.
  • Only invite users who are authorized to access your data.
  • Obtain any consents required before uploading driver, employee, or broker information.
  • Independently verify broker authority, insurance, payroll figures, tax filings, and compliance — the platform supports your workflow; you make the final call.
  • Protect passwords, API keys, and exported files like you would any sensitive business record.

Fair use of the platform

WixCargo is for running your carrier business — not for abuse. Please don’t attempt unauthorized access, upload malware, scrape other customers’ data, or use the service in ways that break the law.

If we see serious abuse, non-payment, or a security risk, we may suspend access to protect the platform and other customers. We’ll communicate where we can.

Your data, your business

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information in plain language.

When you upload driver, employee, or operational data, you are typically the data controller and WixCargo acts as your processor / service provider — we store and process that data to deliver the features you use, on your instructions.

Integrations you choose

Optional connections — QuickBooks, Samsara, Motive, Mapbox, Twilio (driver SMS), weather and fuel-price lookups, email providers, FMCSA lookups, and others — are governed by those vendors’ own terms. You control which integrations you enable. See our Privacy Policy for the partners that help us run the platform.

Supplementary usage charges

Some features bill outside your flat monthly subscription when you turn them on:

  • Driver SMS — When enabled for your company, each text message to a driver is charged at the per-message rate shown in Integrations → Driver SMS before you acknowledge billing. Usage is added to your Stripe subscription as supplementary invoice items. You can disable driver SMS at any time.

Platform subscription fees still do not include separate per-invoice or per-transaction platform markups on top of your monthly plan, except for optional usage you enable (such as driver SMS), which is billed to your company.

Subscription

If your carrier uses a paid WixCargo plan, these billing terms apply in addition to the rest of these Terms.

  • Plans and trials. Your monthly subscription price, trial length, and any custom pricing are shown in Account → Subscription or agreed in writing. Free trials convert to paid subscriptions unless you cancel before the trial ends.
  • Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period on the payment method on file until you cancel through Account → Subscription or another method we provide.
  • Payment processing. We use Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment provider, to store payment methods, process subscription charges, and issue invoices. By adding a payment method, you authorize WixCargo and Stripe to charge your company for the subscription, supplementary usage (such as driver SMS), and any related Stripe payment-processing amounts shown on your invoice. Your company pays these fees on the payment method you provide — the platform operator does not cover your subscription or usage charges.
  • Failed payments. If a charge fails, we may retry it, limit access after a reasonable grace period, or suspend the subscription until payment is resolved.
  • Taxes. Fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless we state otherwise. You are responsible for sales, use, or similar taxes except where we are required to collect them.
  • Price changes. We may change standard subscription prices with reasonable notice. Custom pricing in your order form or account settings takes precedence where applicable.
  • Refunds. Except where required by law or stated in your order form, subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started.

Try before you commit: the demo

Our free demo uses sample data that resets when you leave. It’s a great way to explore — just don’t enter real driver names, CDL numbers, bank details, or compliance documents there.

Support when you need it

Authorized WixCargo team members may access tenant data when reasonably necessary for customer support, security, billing, or legal compliance. Access is limited to what’s needed and logged where practical.

Setting expectations (the important stuff)

We work hard to keep WixCargo reliable, but like any cloud service, we can’t promise perfection.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, WixCargo disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Automated calculations and lookups — truck route mileage, fuel and IFTA estimates (including published diesel prices and optional route-weather adjustments), broker authority checks (via FMCSA and public data), payroll withholdings, GPS-assisted load status, and integration syncs — are informational tools built into the software. They save you time, but you and your team make the final call. Always verify amounts, authority, status, and compliance with your own records and professional advisors.

Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, WixCargo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, loads, data, or regulatory penalties arising from use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim (or one hundred U.S. dollars if you haven’t paid fees), except where law doesn’t allow that limit.

Indemnification. You agree to defend and hold WixCargo harmless from claims arising from your use of the service, your data, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law — including employment, tax, FMCSA, and privacy obligations.

If you ever want to leave

You can stop using WixCargo at any time. We may also terminate or suspend access with notice when reasonable. Before access ends, export your data using available tools in Settings — your records belong to you.

When we update these Terms

We may revise these Terms as the product or law evolves. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date and, where required, we’ll ask you to accept the updated version. Continued use after changes means acceptance where the law allows.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless your order form says otherwise. Disputes are handled in Delaware courts or through binding arbitration if we agree in writing.
